The Division of General Academic Pediatrics currently offers two-year positions for up to three general pediatricians who want to prepare for a career in academic medicine. Fellows concentrate on acquiring research skills and may focus their efforts in a variety of areas including obesity, child protective services, ethics issues in medicine/pediatrics and others. Fellows also gain experience in supervising pediatric residents in primary care and the care of hospitalized children.
