I ...[Read full text]From a clinical perspective, I am involved with all aspects of pulmonary medicine and see all patients, however, my area of specific focus is cystic fibrosis. I also have an interest in interstitial lung disease, pulmonary function testing, neuromuscular disease, rheumatologic related lung disease and asthma.
My main area of scholarly activity is related to quality improvement and implementation science in all areas of pulmonary medicine, however have primarily focused in cystic fibrosis. I have held several grants to improve care and continue to work to maintain the care delivery that has been improved, while striving to take on new projects, elevating the care delivery for all out our patients.
I also focus my work on education, working with all levels of medical learners. I participate in various medical school classes, work closely with residents during their rotations and am current the Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship Director. I have mentored several medical students and fellows on their scholarly work.[Shorten text]
