Professor, Pediatrics (Emergency Medicine)

Elizabeth Powell, MD,MPH, is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Preethi L Raghupatruni

Instructor, Pediatrics (Advanced General Pediatrics and Primary Care)

I am general pediatrician who has a deep focus in preventative medicine, specifically in obesity and mental health. I strive to create a strong medical home and advocate for all my patients.

Mary C Elliott

Instructor, Pediatrics (Hospital-Based Medicine)

As a hospital-based pediatrician, Dr. Elliott works at both Lurie Children's Hospital and Prentice Women's Hospital with clinical areas of focus including management of critically ill newborns in the Neonatal ICU and general pediatric acute care. Dr. Elliott’s interests also include clinical education of medical students and residents.

Rebecca L Carl

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Advanced General Pediatrics and Primary Care)

Dr. Carl completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin. She completed a fellowship in Non-operative pediatric orthopaedics at the University of Wisconsin and a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Rush University.

Corie M Klepper

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition)

Dr. Klepper is a pediatric gastroenterologist in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She has additional training and expertise in pediatric nutrition with a focus in nutrition support.

Rukhmi Bhat

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation)

I am a Pediatric Hematologist with an academic focus and clinical expertise in Thrombosis and Hemostasis and Neonatal Hematology. I am passionate about understanding the role of the developing hemostatic system and it's impact on neonatal thrombosis, the interaction of clinical and acquired risk factors in thrombus development and developing risk stratification models to predict thrombosis. Jennifer S Wicks

Instructor, Pediatrics (Hospital-Based Medicine)

As a hospital-based pediatrician, Dr. Wicks works at both Lurie Children's Hospital and Prentice Women's Hospital with clinical areas of focus including management of critically ill newborns in the Neonatal ICU. Jean A Junior

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Emergency Medicine)

Jean Junior is a pediatric emergency medicine physician at Lurie Children’s Hospital. She also serves as a pediatrician with Doctors Without Borders. Jean is interested in policy advocacy and research to address social determinants of health, such as child poverty. Her research primarily focuses on how tax policy can be designed to help maximize child survival and well-being.

Priyamvada Tatachar

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Neurology and Epilepsy)

I am a pediatrician and child neurologist with a clinical focus on neurological disorders in infants and children specifically epilepsy. My interests are in the evaluation of children with drug resistant epilepsy for epilepsy surgery and treatment of children with tuberous sclerosis complex and infantile spasms. i believe in universal accessibility to healthcare, affordle health care for all, effective health care delivery, utilization and personnel management systems and fostering global collaborations in healthcare worldwide.

Michael V Certo

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Palliative Care)

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Music from Manhattan School of Music. I completed medical school at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons, followed by Residency in Pediatrics, Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, and Fellowship in Hospice & Palliative Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
