Pedram Gerami

Professor, Dermatology (Dermatopathology), Pathology, Pediatrics

Selected to Best Doctors in America 2019-2020/2023-2024 and Top Doctors in Chicago 2023-24, Dr Gerami is the director of the Skin Cancer Institute of Northwestern Medicine (SCIN-Med) and the director of the Melanoma Program in the Skin Cancer Institute and the Melanoma clinic in the department of Dermatology. His clinical and research interests are primarily focused on melanoma skin cancer, atypical nevi and borderline melanocytic tumors such as Spitz tumors which maybe difficult to classify. Lawrence A Gray

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics)

My interest in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics covers a broad range of topics--all which are related to the optimal developmental and behavioral functioning of the child and the family. I have spent the majority of my professional time focusing on the care of the fussy baby and developing new models of clinical care and support for the family.My expertise, leadership, training in developmental and behavioral pediatrics has many facets and include mentoring from Dr. T Berry Brazelton, Dr. Steven Porges, and Mr. Fred Rogers.

Lacey L Kruse

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Dermatology), Dermatology

Lacey Kruse, MD is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She has a special interest and dedication to educating medical students, residents, and fellows. She also serves as program director for the Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Dr. Kruse’s clinical and research interests include pediatric skin cancer, pigmented lesions in children, and atopic dermatitis.  She serves as Director for the Lurie Children’s Hospital Pediatric Pigmented Lesion Center of Excellence. 

Sameer Patel

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Infectious Diseases)

I am the Medical Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. I lead efforts to promote judicious use of antibiotics and limit the emergence of antibiotic resistance. My clinical and research interests include antimicrobial stewardship, antimicrobial resistant infections, and patient safety and quality.

Ellen Gould Chadwick

Professor, Pediatrics (Infectious Diseases)

Dr. Chadwick is the Susan B. DePree Founders' Board Professor in Pediatric Adolescent and Maternal HIV Infection andDirector of the Section of Pediatric, Adolescent and Maternal HIV Infection and attending physician in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She is Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. She joined the Northwestern faculty in 1985 after completing her pediatric residency and fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Children's Memorial Hospital at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Hospital-Based Medicine)

Dr. Smith has been a member of the Division of Hospital Based Medicine at Northwestern Medicine and Lurie Children's Hospital since 2006.

Diana Sieciechowicz

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Neurology and Epilepsy)

I am interested in all types of seizures/epilepsy particularly infantile spasms and medically refractory seizures.

Craig Martin Smith

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Critical Care), Neurology - Ken and Ruth Davee Department

Interested in effects of physiologic and biochemical support after pediatric cardiac arrest and relationship to oucome. Also interested in diagnostic studies and prognosticatoin for these patients. Committed to critical care delivery, improvement, education, and discovery.

Jennifer P Rubin

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Neurology and Epilepsy)

In addition to caring for infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of neurologic conditions, Dr Rubin has specialized training and interest in acquired demyelinating diseases (multiple sclerosis, transverse myelitis, neuromyelitis optica) and genetic white matter diseases (leukodystrophies). She serves as the director of Lurie's Leukodystrophy Care Center, a multidisciplinary program developed to provide the best possible care to patients with leukodystrophies and their families at every stage of their disease. 

Andrew D Prigge

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Critical Care)

I am a physician-scientist who specializes in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. After completing my undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I received my medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. I completed my Residency in Pediatrics and was selected as a Chief Resident at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh before completing my Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Northwestern University.
