Our People

In the Pediatrics Residency Program, we pride ourselves on cultivating every year a tight-knit community that extends across the residency as well as to staff, faculty, and leadership. We know that diversity adds immeasurably to our community. We aim to create for each resident intentional layers of support and mentorship so that each trainee feels seen, valued, and invested in as well as a part of the wonderful, larger whole.

The number of medical schools represented by our housestaff exceeds half the total number of residents themselves. This is a reflection of the broad distribution of applicants to our program. This diversity adds immeasurably to our group spirit and to our challenging and inquisitive environment. Through our program of retreats, social gatherings and informal get-togethers, the residents form a tightly knit community, entwined with the hospital staff, faculty and administration.
