Professor, Surgery (Pediatric Cardiovascular-Thoracic Surgery), Pediatrics (Cardiology)

Dr. Winlaw is a cardiothoracic surgical innovator as well as an experienced and talented neonatal surgeon. Sadie A LaPonsie

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Hospital-Based Medicine)

Dr. LaPonsie is a pediatric hospitalist in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hospital-Based Medicine. She cares for patients at Lurie Children's Hospital and Prentice Women's Hospital and is the Associate Program Director for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship and the Secretary/Treasurer for the Lurie Children's Medical Staff.

Jennifer P Rubin

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Neurology and Epilepsy)

In addition to caring for infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of neurologic conditions, Dr Rubin has specialized training and interest in acquired demyelinating diseases (multiple sclerosis, transverse myelitis, neuromyelitis optica) and genetic white matter diseases (leukodystrophies). She serves as the director of Lurie's Leukodystrophy Care Center, a multidisciplinary program developed to provide the best possible care to patients with leukodystrophies and their families at every stage of their disease. 

Lisa Kuhns

Research Professor, Pediatrics (Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine)

My primary areas of research interest are prevention of behavioral transmission of HIV infection and promotion of health and wellness among HIV-impacted adolescent and young adult populations, including sexual and gender minorities. In particular, I have been involved in the development of practical and scalable interventions across the HIV care continuum, including mHealth interventions, in both the United States and internationally. 

Bria Marielle Coates

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Critical Care)

I am a physician-scientist who specializes in pediatric critical care medicine. I received my MD from the University of Washington and completed my Residency in Pediatrics and Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Northwestern University. I joined the faculty in the Pediatric Critical Care Division in 2011.

Conor P O'Halloran

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Cardiology)

Dr. O'Halloran was born in Chicago and grew up in Oconomowoc, WI. He completed his undergraduate degree and medical school at the University of Wisconsin. He then completed pediatrics residency at Boston Children's Hospital before moving back to Chicago to complete his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Lurie Children's. Dr. O'Halloran specializes in catheter-based procedures for infants, children, as well as adults with congenital heart disease. Instructor, Pediatrics (Hospital-Based Medicine)

I am a board certified pediatrician with primary interests in the care of both the well and preterm or ill newborn. In addition to newborn care I provide procedural moderate sedation for pediatric patients of all ages.
