Rebecca Unger

Clinical Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Community Based Primary Care)

Dr Unger is a general pediatrician and offers well child care from birth through adolescence. She has a special interest in nutrition, prevention and treatment of childhood obesity, and family fitness.

Diana Sieciechowicz

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Neurology and Epilepsy)

I am interested in all types of seizures/epilepsy particularly infantile spasms and medically refractory seizures.

Megan M Barry

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Neurology and Epilepsy)

Megan Barry, DO is a pediatric neurologist with special interest in pediatric neurovascular disorders. She completed a Vascular Neurology fellowship and has been practicing since 2018, taking care of children with strokes, vascular malformations and other neurovascular disorders. She also works on the Neurocritical Care team taking care of children admitted to the intensive care units and need a neurologist on their care team.

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation)

As a former social worker turned physician, I am acutely aware of the way in which the psycho-social atmosphere contributes to the treatment of cancer in children, adolescents, and young adults. As a physician, I try to incorporate that view into my treatment of young people with cancer.

Karna Murthy

Professor, Pediatrics (Neonatology)

My interests are within the Children's Hospital Neonatal Consortium (CHNC: http://www.thechnc.org). The CHNC focuses on infants with uncommon congenital anomalies and/or acquired complications related to preterm birth in 50 regional NICUs in the United States and Canada. We aim to describe the care and outcomes for a population of critically-ill infants that has not been a traditional area of focus in neonatal registries. I am interested in research, advocacy, and policy development that reduces health disparities, addresses bias, racism, and other structural determinants of health and promotes social justice. My current research involves evaluating disparities in research enrollment and participation, the use of medico-legal partnerships to address the social determinants of health, and understanding public perceptions of brain death. I am an internist and a pediatrician with a research focus on the health of fathers and paternal contributions to the health of families.

Jill H Samis

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Endocrinology)

I am a pediatric endocrinologist engaged in clinical care and clinical research. My clinical interests are in the care of children with long-term endocrine sequelae of childhood cancer, thyroid disorders, growth disorders, and disorders of puberty. I participate in the multidisciplinary STAR (Survivors Taking Action and Responsiblity) clinic and participate in theFertility & Hormone Preservation & Restoration Program.
