Shayna Hibbs

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Neonatology)

Dr. Hibbs has a research interest in perinatal epidemiology, particularly in understanding social determinants of racial and ethnic disparities in birth outcomes. Dr. Hibbs also has an academic focus in medical education.

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation)

My medical career has taken me many places and has allowed me to meet and interact with a number of amazing people. My career started with obtaining my DO from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed my pediatric residency at Phoenix Children's Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center and additional year there as a Chief Resident. I then went onto complete my fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC. Norrina Bai Allen

Professor, Preventive Medicine (Epidemiology), Medical Social Sciences (Determinants of Health), Pediatrics

Dr. Allen specializes in cardiovascular epidemiology with a focus on health services research. Her research interests include the effect of neighborhood and environment on cardiovascular disease, disparities in quality of care and outcomes as well as the use of large databases to examine these questions.

Parul P Soni

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Emergency Medicine)

Interested in providing quality Pediatric Emergency care, to teach trainees, and to improve overall emergency care for children by contributing to research in this field with special interests in injury prevention, and Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC).

Elizabeth A Sokol

Assistant Professor, Pediatrics (Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation)

I received my medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Medicine in 2011, prior to completing my Pediatrics residency at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. I completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in 2017 and a post-doctoral fellowship Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics in 2018 at the University of Chicago. I subsequently became a member of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology division at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago in 2018.

Kerri Z Machut

Associate Professor, Pediatrics (Neonatology)

As an academic neonatal critical care physician, Kerri is passionate about supporting infants and their families on their NICU journeys, both directly and through research and initiatives focused on improving family-centered care. She leads various initiatives in family-centered care, both locally at Lurie Children's Hospital as the co-Medical Director of Patient Family Experience and nationally through the American Academy of Pediatrics' (AAP) Family Centered Care Task Force and Children's Hospitals Neonatal Consortium. Her research in this domain evaluates family perspectives and patient out...

Sarah L. Chamlin, M.D. is a Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and an Attending Physician, Lurie Children's Hospital specializing in Pediatric Dermatology. Her clinical interests include hemangiomas and other vascular lesions, laser therapy and general Pediatric Dermatology.
